Hey Moms! It’s Okay……

Hey Moms! It’s Okay……

Moms everywhere are proud owners of many hats. Your Mom’s job description is basically a LOOOONNNNGGG list of hats you wear over the course of motherhood. LOL I mean seriously we are many things to many people. One of my closest friends gave me this shirt and I LOVE it!!! It so describes a Mom’s Life. Being a mom of 6 myself I know that mom’s always put their children first and leave themselves to the end. And on the rare occasion that we do something for ourselves, we can’t help but feel a bit of MOM GUILT. Well, I am here to say

Hey, Moms! It’s okay to….

…forget things every once and awhile-After all we are remembering things for everyone else in the family…

….go shopping by yourself and enjoy it…..

…..feel a bit relieved when it’s finally time to put your kids to sleep…

…..feel a bit jelly of how peaceful your hubby gets to sleep….

….despise homework just a little….

…..have some ALONE time…..

…..hold your breath every time you check on your sleeping infant….

…..not freak out over every little thing…..

……take a day off…..

…have secrets. Here is one of mine…..

…..it’s okay to use these lines every now and then….

Because …..

Therefore you will lose the following privileges for a few years:

But seriously one day we will look back on these days and wished they hadn’t had gone by so fast. Yes, I am quoting the country song because it is so true.

  18. Lol! I have to admit that I would be worried about ending up in a body bag with my daughter after doing a project. I think I can handle it, but she hasn’t had to do major projects yet so we will see what I will be saying a couple of years from now.

  20. Yes! It is okay to forget things and to make mistakes, it happens to anyone. I always say I am imperfect, I will make mistakes but I always make what I feel is the best decisions for my 3 kids. They may not always see it that way, but I can only hope when they are adults they look back and realize I did the best I could with the intention to always have them come first, even when I was absent minded 😉
