Top 5 reasons why you should stop by Congo River Golf Orlando

Top 5 reasons why you should stop by Congo River Golf Orlando

Anyone who has traveled down International Drive in Orlando is familiar with Congo River Golf.  It just looks so lively and once you are there you will discover that it is a great fun way to spend 90 minutes or so with your family. It started pouring when we were there but it just made it that much more fun! The kids were determined to finish even if it meant they were drenched. We recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a fun time and here are 5 reasons why.

1.You can feed and hold the crocodiles in the pond

They have a lot of small gators that you can pet and feed. It’s an additional $10 to hold the baby gator. We did not try this but i am sure it would be a great experience. The gators are not the only animals in the golf course. There are a bunch of baby frogs the day we went. My son loves them and he was over the moon that he got to catch and carry one.

2. Look for hidden articles while you play the course

This is the first hole that you stop at on your  Congo River Golf adventure. The detail in the cave is amazing.  This is also the first step in the Exploration Game. Where you can discover lost treasures as you go through the course. My kids had fun doing this. You get to follow in the footsteps of Henry Stanley and David Livingstone, famous African Congo explorers.

3. Course is very challenging but super fun.

Along the course you get to board an abandoned ship. The kids thought that this was so cool. As you can see Congo River Golf, is a well constructed course, and is well maintaned.

4. Staff was very friendly

The staff was very helpful when we arrived. They helped the kids pick out the proper equipment. They suggested with kids it would be best to take more than 2 balls each. And let me tell you they were right. Several balls went into the water.

5.Good price

Admission for adults or children is $14.37 if you want to pay at the gate. Or you could purchase the Go Orlando Go Pass like we did and it is one of the attractions listed.

This was the most intersting golf course we have EVER been too. I mean look at it. They were really in love with the overall appearance of the course and the details themselves. It just draws you in when you are driving on International Drive.

Keep on searching for the treasures of life,
